Lucidity. Inward Views is the theme proposed by Anne-Marie Ninacs for the 12th presentation of Le Mois de la Photo à Montréal, which will be held from September 8 to October 9, 2011. For the occasion, 25 solo exhibitions will be spread throughout Montreal transforming the city into a vast and coherent group show. The camera will be completely turned around for the event, showing that photography can also bring into focus our interior world.
LE MOIS DE LA PHOTO À MONTRÉAL
UNVEILING OF THE 2011 PROGRAM
The 12th presentation of Le Mois de la Photo à Montréal will be resonating with the theme proposed by guest curator Anne-Marie Ninacs: Lucidity. Inward Views. The exhibitions, the publication, the colloquium, the special events and the educational activities are all organized around this theme. Between September 8 and October 9, discover the 25 solo exhibitions and public interventions spread across Montréal in 14 sites, including the Arsenal - a brand new space dedicated to contemporary art located in Griffintown.

Many of the works are exhibited for the first time in Canada some of which have been created especially for the event. A special project bringing together 10 solo exhibitions by artists working in photography and media arts, will be presented at the Arsenal.
